In the Q & A session after the screening of his upcoming movie, I Am, Tom Shadyac said he was enjoying living in his 1000 square foot double wide trailer instead of his 17,000 square foot house. . . that it’s about “simplicity, simplicity, simplicity”!

As I watched him, I thought, wow, he is truly living out his artist’s life. He survived an accident, and his recovery energized him to be zealous about spreading the word about the most powerful force on earth: loving kindness. For more see: www.iamthedoc.com. Tom Shadyac (director of movies including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Nutty Professor and Bruce Almighty) teaches a film class at Pepperdine University. He says he has his students answer three questions:
1) what do you love to do?
2) what do you want to do for your career / occuption?
3) what’s the theme of your life?
And he goes on to say “Those three things should line up – that’s what we call integrity.”
