Here’s a photo I took of detail of a window at The Dakota, which is a historic housing cooperative built in 1884, located at 72nd and Central Park West in New York. John Lennon had lived here from 1973 until his death in 1980.

To greet the autumn equinox I sat in on a teaching by visiting Tibetan Monk Taklung Matul Rinpoche.
“Reality is illogical,” he said at the beginning of his talk.
“Appreciate the little things. Be adamant,” he said at the end.
I left smiling.

One of my sisters used to remind me that I might be more in harmony with Monday the if I wore a certain color that day. There’s many systems of thought regarding what color will maximize the energy of that day. Consulting Wikipedia I found this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_of_the_day. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
Sunday – Red
Monday – Yellow
Tuesday – Pink
Wednesday – Green
Thursday – Orange
Friday – Blue
Saturday – Purple
